Coagulation testing,
moved to the
bedside

Most coagulation results still come back from a central lab. That delay shapes what a clinician can do in the room. Heagital is developing a point-of-care coagulation device and companion app for NHS settings, so the result arrives during the consultation rather than after it.

In development. Not yet UKCA marked. Not available for sale.

What we do

What we are building

01
The device

A benchtop-free coagulation analyser designed for use at the point of care. The target assay panel is PT, INR and APTT from a capillary sample. Intended settings are anticoagulation clinics, community care and acute assessment. Currently in development.

Device
02
The companion app

Results from the device feed a companion application that records readings over time, flags values outside the therapeutic range, and gives the clinician a trend rather than a single number. Designed to fit existing anticoagulation workflows.

Software
03
The route to the NHS

We are building toward UKCA conformity under the UK IVDR framework, with clinical validation and pilot design planned alongside it. Deployment priorities are set by an internal model that ranks all 42 NHS Integrated Care Boards on clinical risk, adoption readiness and procurement friction.
