This website does not use cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. There is nothing to accept and nothing to opt out of, which is why you have not been shown a consent banner.
Why there is no banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is required before storing non-essential information on your device. This site does not store anything on your device, so there is no consent to ask for. A banner that asked you to accept cookies that do not exist would be theatre.
What does happen when you load this page
Two requests leave your browser that are worth naming:
- GitHub Pages serves the page. Your IP address reaches GitHub as part of that request. No cookie is set.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Your IP address reaches Google as part of that request. Google does not set cookies for font files, but the request is still a transfer of data. If you would rather it did not happen, a font-blocking browser extension will stop it and the site stays readable.
Neither of these places anything on your device or follows you elsewhere.
If that changes
If we later add anything that does use cookies, such as analytics or an embedded form, we will publish a proper consent mechanism and ask before setting anything. We will update this page first.
